| Background |
The Law Librarians’ Group of
Malaysia is a sub-committee under the Special Libraries Group of the then Library Association of Malaysia (now known as the Librarians’ Association of Malaysia, LAM).
Since then, numerous activities have been carried out.
The increasing number of librarians dealing with legal information
and engaged in law libraries has increased the need and demand for
professional activities in the field of law librarianship. As such
in 2006 the first committee of The Law Librarians’ Group of
Malaysia was formed.
Members of the Law Librarians’ Group of Malaysia comprise qualified librarians from various law libraries, including the courts, academic, government and legal firm libraries.
